Glenn Harmon, President/COO:
Mr. Harmon has over 27 years of domestic and international Food & Beverage industry experience including senior management positions with restaurants, contract feeding, supermarkets, and club stores, most recently as Senior Vice President of Operations & Merchandising for PriceSmart, Inc. Mr. Harmon is a recognized industry leader in sales growth and market diversity and has served in various roles within the industry including trade associations and educational seminars. He has served on the Board of Directors of The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association and served as a guest lecturer for St. Joseph?s University Food Marketing programs. Mr. Harmon is bilingual.
Tina Clevenger, Chief Financial Officer:
Ms. Clevenger has over 20 years of management and executive management experience, most recently with a worlwide pharmacuetical research firm. Prior to that, she has held senior positions with GlaxoSmithKine and SmithKline Beeacham. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Wilmington University.
Jorge Vargas, Executive Vice President of Sales & Operations:
Mr. Vargas has over 20 years of retail management experience including: Sales, Merchandising, and Operations. He has held senior management positions in Central America and Mexico and is an expert in the Latin American market and corresponding trends. Most recently, Mr. Vargas has been instrumental in top performing sales growth for PriceSmart, Inc. in Guatemala where he led 7 consecutive years of double-digit growth. He is NEHA certified in Food Safety. Mr. Vargas is bilingual.
Raul Baez, Execuctive Vice President of Logistics & Business Developement:
Mr. Baez has over 15 years of international food, beverage, and financial industry experience including senior management positions with wholesale distributors and leading international banking institutions, most recently as Director for International Purchasing and Customs for NTD Ingredients of Santo Domingo, Republica Dominicana. Mr. Baez is a recognized industry leader in sales growth and market diversity and has served in various roles within the industry including trade associations and eductaional seminars. Mr. Baez has expertise in international logistics and trade compliance. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontifica Universidad Catolica Madre y Muestra, Santo Domingo, D.N.. Mr. Baez is fluent in English and Spanish.
Wonda Cooper, Vice President of Human Resources:
Ms. Cooper, SHRM-SCP has over 25 years of domestic and international Human Resource industry experience, including holding senior management positions in different industries. Most recently, she has held the role of Sr. Human Resources Director For Zafco, International, headquartered in Dubai. Ms. Cooper is recognized as an industry leader in human resource management and talent acquisition. Currently, she sits on the SHRM Expert Panelist Team-Talent Acquisition. She has served on the Board of Directors of The Employer's Association of Florida, and was the recipient of the Excellence in HR Award, from The South Florida Business Journal.
Joel Bez, Vice President of Industrial Engineering:
Mr. Bez is a bakery equipment expert with 20 years of experience in bakery services, design, and consulting. He is an original member of the development team for Pavailler Baking Equipment, USA. Mr. Bez has provided his expertise to many multi-national retailers including: PriceSmart, Inc., Dean and Deluca, Einstein Bagels, Whole Foods Markets, and Don Pan, as well other domestic and international operators, both large and small, through his Bezco Corporation. He is a co-founder of Premium Baking Machines, which assists existing bakeries and start-ups in bakery design, optimization, and bakery equipment selection. His academic background is in international business and economic management from the Grenoble Institute of Economic Research, Grenoble, France. Mr. Bez is fluent in French, Spanish, and English.
Michael Thodde, Vice President of Business Development:
Mr. Thodde has over 20 years of management and executive management experience in the restaurant and hotel industries. His scope of business has included international legal affairs and day-to-day involvemnt with foreign national exmployees. He is an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University. Mr. Thodde maintans strong community involvement through charitable work and has spent considerable time in Haiti working with the relief effort there. He holds an Undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and a Graduate degree from St. Thomas Law School. Mr. Thodde is fluent in English and Spanish.
Jeff Patterson, Vice President of Produce:
Mr. Patterson has over 30 years of management and executive management experience in the produce and floral industry industry. His scope of business has included retailer, grower/shipper, and business development executive. He has developed short and long term business strategies and led successful program development for such prominent retailers as BJ's Wholesale, Nash Finch, IXE Agro USA, and Associated Grocers of Baton Rouge.
Katherine Noguera, Vice President Business Development:
Mrs. Noguera has over 20 years of management and consulting experience specializing in Food Service, Bakery, Nutrition Management, and Retail Store Operations as well as product development. She has launched category-defining products which may be found in the majority of retailers in Central, South America, and the Caribbean. She has managed large scale manufacturing facilities and retail outlet chains within those regions. Mrs. Noguera is passionate about identifying operational inefficiencies and opportunities to add analytical thinking to seamlessly integrate new strategies, processes, and procedures that impact the bottom line. Mrs. Noguera has held senior management positions with $4 billion dollar + corporations operating in the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Asia. She continues to provide insight and leadership as head of Everest Foods Canadian Offices based in Ottawa, Canada.
Ana Carolina Martinez, Vice President Business Development:
Ms. Martinez has over 10 years of Food & Beverage Industry experience with expertise in both commericial and Retail/Food Service, Bakery, and Fresh Foods. She has held senior management positions in the Hotel and Restaurant industries as well as Retail Fresh Foods and Big Box/Club Stores. Ms. Martinez served most recently as Regional Operations Manager for PriceSmart, Inc. a $3.2 billion dollar international club store chain (split-off from Costco) operating in Central, South America, the Caribbean, and Asia with 44 retail QSR operations as well as central commisaries and commercial bakery operations. Ms. Martinez is an expert in Food & Beverage sales, cost analysis, and profit/efficiency optimization. She has worked with large doemstic chains in the USA as well, including improving cost reduction, menu optimization, and labor efficiency for such notable properties as The Breakers Hotel, in Palm Beach, FL. Ms. Martinez holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Marketing from Missouri Valley College in Marsha, MO and a Master's Degree in Hotel Management from CIOMIJAS in Malaga, Spain. Ms. Martinez is fluent in English and Spanish.
